One of San Francisco’s unhearalded benefits is, as an architect would say, is it’s a very flat city. Aside from the sky scrapers in the financial district and nob hill, most every building in 3 stories or less, most of which were originally built as single family homes. SF has always been colorful, but this particluar hillside takes the cake, IMHO.
